Repentance

It's not about being remorseful about the consequences of sin, but understanding what the sin really was in the first place. I have to work on that.
I fall easily into deceiving myself into thinking that I'm a good person at heart and I never do anything terribly wrong. But I forget that sin is sin, regardless of what its physical manifestations are. If my skin turned green every time I was envious, or if my head literally swelled up like a big balloon when I was taking pride in a God-given talent, I may be a more repentant person.

KCK is away this week. I miss my girlie get-togethers whenever he went away while we were in Philly. Not that this apartment would be as accomodating as our old place.
