We had a great time in Philly last week. It was kind of busy trying visit and see everyone we miss so much. I have to admit that driving around the suburbs of Philly made me want to move back... they are just so much more picturesque than where we live. But, alas, just wishful thinking.
Now we're back to the daily semi-routine of eating, sleeping, and changing diapers. Although, GMK has started to smile much more now.... cry more, too. She cries inconsolably at night- we think it's just because she's really tired. But in the early morning, she's also gotten in the habit of not being able to sleep unless she's in my arms- not fun for me. We've decided to institute somewhat of a bedtime routine so she gets the idea that it's time to sleep. Hopefully we'll be able to stick to it. It think the most challenging part is going to be making our evenings more routine... KCK doesn't exactly get home at the same time every day.
