Hereditary?

GMK is getting her first tooth on the top (she already has 4 on the bottom.) We noticed it coming through her gums the other day and thought, "No wonder she's been drooling buckets!" But she's started to "grind" her little tooth against her bottom teeth... it's not the horrific sound of full-blown teeth-grinding, but still a little alarming. Is grinding one's teeth hereditary? 'Cause her father grinds his teeth at night... he even ground right through a mouth guard. I'm hoping she's just having fun discovering her new little tooth and it will end soon. Speaking of hereditary, her teeth are coming in exactly like her fathers- the same degrees of crookedness :P
