Just got back from the Deutschebank Tournament. It was great! They had this awesome kids play area where GMK spent most of the time in the moon bouncer.... she didn't want to leave! Me and KCK split up half the time watching the kid while the other person did their thing. For almost an hour, though, GMK sat with us and watched Tiger, Phil, Sergio, Veejay, etc... finish up the 9th hole. It was pretty cool because they had a section just for kids in the stands and we were able to sit right up front. It's totally worth it to bring your kids because they're free admission and then you can get a great viewing area on some of the holes because of the designated kids' sections. The PGA knows what they're doing when it comes to getting kids interested in the sport.
At one point, I got to see the players from about 15 ft away. The camera definitely adds 10 lbs because Phil's man-"juts" really didn't look as grotesque in person, and Tiger is a beanstalk. The crowd following Tiger was ridiculous (and probably even bigger today because he was playing with Phil and Veejay.) I got caught in the massive rush to follow Tiger to his next hole, and I thought I was going to puke from all the B.O. coming off some of the people I was sardine-packed with. That was the only negative part of the day. Oh yeah, that and the port-a-potties.

ewww... i can only imagine what those smells plus hormones would have done to you. :( but so glad that you all had a great time. even GMK. :)
That's neat. Didn't know the tour was so kid friendly. Ha, ha about Phil. Glad you and the fam had a good time.
The greens must have been beautiful! Maybe GMK will grow to be a pro! Sounds like it was a great time!
neat-o. i would love to go see a men's PGA tournament! i went to that LPGA tour last week too. never thought i would be interested in watching golf. funny how things change...BO is gross. i'm glad asians don't really have that problem.
haha.. the lovely lawns of the pga. and then B.O. oh well, at least it's airy out there.. though i do not watch golf, i wish i played. and though i don't watch golf, i do love tiger! yeah gmk for getting the folks in up front!!
