Here's GMK's costume from preschool. All her classmates were "One-eyed, one-horned, flying, purple people-eaters" and they walked around the building that their school is housed to go trick-or-treat. I thought their costumes were fantastic!
For Halloween night, she was a butterfly. I purposely made the costume out of things that she can use again, except maybe the $4 butterfly wings.
I asked her to do a curtsy. This is her version. You can see her loot on the ground in front of her. Hopefully, she'll forget about it in a few days.
An accessory that she received last night. She's really into it.

love all these pics! will GMK really wear the legwarmers again? how very 80s. her curtsy needs a little work. and those fangs really freak me out. the picture reminds me of the little vampire girl in "Interview with a Vampire".

um, do i have extra large canine teeth? or is it her facial expression that makes her look especially like me in the vampire picture?
She's a beautiful butterfly. I love her curtsy. It actually looks like she's doing a ballet move.
i thought i was lucky to be in HI during halloween so that i wouldn't have to put her in costume. i really like the girls' costumes!
