Palm Beach Trip

We recently took a trip to Palm Beach. It was our first "real" vacation in a while since we're usually tagging along with KCK on his business trips. It was pretty relaxing, thanks to my parents helping out with the kids. And although it was colder than usual for that area of the country, 60 degrees is still better than 27 degrees. I got to get a couple golf lessons in and played 18 holes with my mom. I can't wait to play again- I'm even dreaming about golf!

We went to a tourist trap called "Lion Country Safari." The drive-through safari part was actually pretty cool. The walk around part was a miniature zoo with rides and things- not as fun. The prices were very reasonable, so no complaints here.





We went swimming almost every day thanks to the pool that must have been heated to 80 degrees. AJK wasn't into it at first, but the last few days, she would go get her bathing suit first thing in the morning, throw it down in front of an adult, and say, "Swim!"



One night we all went out to dinner to celebrate KCK's birthday. There was a live band outside and the girls had sooooo much fun dancing. It was too dark to get a good video of it, but here are some action shots.
