We recently went to a local storytime where there is a meet and greet with a character. This particular week, Elmo made an appearance. AJK likes Elmo a lot, so I decided to take the girls. Unfortunately, AJK is also a little timid, so she clung to me like a monkey to her mama and refused to even look at Elmo when it finally came our turn to "meet" him. I have to say, it was a little intimidating. Elmo's supposed to be this little pint-sized puppet. Even GMK asked, "How come Elmo's so big?" Anyway, as you can see, GMK got to meet him and AJK keeps bringing it up (a week later) saying, "Bye-bye Elmo! Elmo... scared!" No theme parks for us anytime soon!

both your girls are funny. "how come Elmo's so big?" yeah, i agree, he's not so cute when he's nearly 6 foot. no wonder AJK was scared!

A giant Elmo can be intimidating! Kaitlyn loves Elmo too, but when she saw a battery operated Tickle Me Elmo, she freaked out! Guess Elmo is only safe to watch on TV. :)
