GMK went trick-or-treating last night with her partners in crime E and J. They were so cute in their costumes. GMK wasn't sure what was going on the whole time, but she atleast got the hang of taking a piece of candy and putting it in her bucket. At one point, she was giving candy back.... but she quickly figured out that she was supposed to keep it. She had her first piece of candy ever (Laffy Taffy) after her hard work, which she thought was AMAZING.
The M family visited for a few days. We always have so much fun with them even though we don't end up doing much. I guess it's just nice to sit and talk with good friends. GMK adored E, but ended up fighting with J over toys. They started sharing and giving each other hugs by the time it was time to say goodbye.

it is true about good friends. the best times are the ones when you're just kicking back on the couch, talking and eating. and you know that you're close when you can do that without feeling like you're being a bad host. :)
Thanks so much for having us!! It was so much fun. Loved the night when we talked till 3 am.
It's so funny seeing them in their costumes again. I give a chuckle everytime I see the pics. I'll send them to you.

i actually thought about GMK during halloween. i was thinking, "not for G, it's got peanuts." she's so cute... love the chicken outfit.
