So Dry....

Scottsdale, AZ was so dry... our family went through a quarter tub (not tube, but tub) of Aquaphor in a week. So dry... I decided not to golf after my first 9-holes because my legs were being chaffed by my pants (chubb-rub partly to blame.) So dry... my hair dried a little curly because gravity didn't get a chance to weigh down my 2-year old perm. You get the point.

Just got back from a week out in the desert. Frankly, I have no desire to go back. The resort was nice enough. But then all there was to do with a toddler was to go swimming in their heated pool and play in their playground. Only so much of either a mom can take! We did check out the Phoenix Zoo, which was very cool. We saw a baboon trying to put a t-shirt on. Very funny. And one morning we went to the nearby train park, which had a small replica train you could ride. We rode it twice. And then the carousel, twice. GMK had a blast.

hehe, chubb rub. that's funny. :) wow, quarter tub of aquaphor, eh? GMK is well-traveled for her age. She may have been to more places in the states than me. Shheesh! :)
Hope the transition to and from AZ with GMK went well. Are you coming to Philly this month?

Sounds like fun.... for GMK.. ;) Glad you all are back safe and sound. Can't wait to see you guys for the holiday. Remember if there is no room at your parent's, you all are welcome to stay at chez moi.

Teehee-chubb rub? It's hard to fathom a place being drier than here in the wintertime (I feel like it's starting to become tundra-dry now). Sorry I missed your voicemail!
